Barskaun gorge

Beautiful waterfalls and a good road to the high mountain Arabel desert and the Kumtor gold mine make this gorge very attractive for tourists.
In the gorge there is a monument to Yuri Gagarin, who loved to relax on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul. The monument is carved out of a huge stone block.
