Our tour.

Day 1: Almaty
You will begin the tour with a ride to the Medeu Gorge (1690 m) on a car rent, which is famous for having the highest mountain skating rink in the world, and then take a cable car to the Shymbulak ski resort region. Your mountain journey continues to the top of Kok-Tobe hill, where you will arrive on the park eco-cars over the scenic winding mountain route. The first leg of the tour concludes with a short ride on the famous Almaty cableway* from the top of the hill to the city center. After lunch, the city portion of the tour begins, with the first stop being the Almaty Museum, where you can learn about the history of Kazakhstan’s southern metropolis. Following the museum, the tour will continue with a brief stop to familiarize yourself with the architecture and history of Abai Opera and Ballet Theatre. Then you’ll go to one of Almaty’s oldest parks, Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, which houses one of the world’s most beautiful wooden structures, Zenkov Cathedral. The next item of interest is a popular shopping destination for locals, the Green Bazaar, where it is impossible not to shop. *Please note that the tour is not offered on Mondays. The cableway is not available on Tuesdays when the tour departs at 10:00 a.m. Check-in at the hotel after being transferred there. Overnight.

Day 2: Almaty – Kaindy
Breakfast is served in the hotel. The flight leaves Almaty at 8:00 a.m. When you arrive in Saty, check into the guest house where you will spend the next two nights. After lunch, you’ll make your way to Kaindy Lake on a car rent on a tour in Kazakhstan. Kaindy Lake (birch lake) is notable for its origin and is located among spectacular pine forest at an elevation of 2000 meters above sea level. It was formed in 1911 as a result of a major earthquake that generated a landslide that sealed the valley by a natural barrier, causing the valley to flood. Because the lake’s water is unusually cold, the needles of the flooded trees are well preserved and clearly visible through the transparent surface of the water, and dry trunks of fir trees overlook the water surface, much like the submarine squadron’s masts. It is hard to express all of the lake’s mystical grandeur in words — you must travel there and see everything for yourself. You will return to Saty village after going around the lake to shower, eat dinner, and rest. Overnight in the guest house.

Day 3: Kolsai
Breakfast will be served at 7:00 a.m. Walking from Lake Kolsai-1 to Lake Kolsai-2. On the way, we’ll have lunch. The Kolsai Lakes, often known as the «Pearls of the Northern Tien-Shan,» are a series of three lakes. The largest lake is open to all people. It is the most gorgeous lake, with no civilization and a plethora of mushrooms. After arriving at Kolsay-1 Lake and after a brief orientation, you will begin your hike. The tour begins on the lake’s shore and continues through pine forest, alpine meadows, and a pristine mountain river that flows all the way down from Kolsai-2 Lake. The overall walking distance between the two lakes is around 7 kilometers and takes approximately 3-3,5 hours one trip. The altitude rises more than 400 meters, from 1818 meters above sea level at the first lake to 2250 meters at the second. There are no difficulty levels, and the path is accessible to healthy, average-trained people. After a day of intense trekking, having lunch in front of a cold and pure-clean lake surrounded by majestic mountain peaks is priceless. Afternoon hike back to Kolsai-1 Lake, followed by a drive back to Saty village. The settlement’s arrival with cars for rent. Dinner and overnight in the guest house.

Day 4: Kolsai – Charyn – Almaty
At 08:00, you will leave a welcoming family and travel to Charyn Canyon. The canyon will take roughly 2 hours to reach. When you arrive, you’ll take in the magnificent view before heading down to the canyon’s bottom for a 2-kilometer stroll through the Castles Valley’s maze.
Charyn Canyon is a natural complex that is unique not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the globe. It was formed during the Paleogene period and is similar in size to the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River in North America. The Canyon’s bottom has a little descent to the conclusion of the walk, where you will find a fresh oasis on the bank of the extremely cold Charyn River, as well as an eco-park with numerous yurts (traditional houses) and a tiny open air café that operates throughout the summer. Walking back and driving to one of the observation platforms for another stunning panoramic view after a short rest. After spending 3-4 hours in the canyon, you will return to Almaty. The original meeting spot in Almaty will be reached around 19:00. Overnight in the hotel.
